Accenture PLC (NYSE:ACN) completed its acquisition of Faculty Monday. Faculty is a top United Kingdom-based artificial intelligence company. The deal boosts Accenture’s technical expertise in AI.

Over 400 AI professionals now join Accenture. This team includes data scientists and AI engineers. Companies did not disclose the financial terms. Accenture first announced the transaction on Jan. 6.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. As of November 30, 2025, Accenture had cash and equivalents worth $9.649 billion.

New Chief Technology Officer

Marc Warner is the CEO and co-founder of Faculty. He now becomes the Chief Technology Officer of Accenture. He also joins the Global Management Committee. Accenture Chair and CEO Julie Sweet praised the strategic move.

Sweet stated: “Now that Faculty is part of Accenture, we will further advance our strategy to be our clients’ reinvention partner of choice and lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI.”

She added: “I look forward to working with our new CTO Marc Warner to shape our technology strategy and execution and attract the best talent in the world to meet our clients’ needs.”

Scaling AI Transformation

Faculty was founded in 2014. The firm brings its enterprise decision intelligence product, FrontierTM. This tool helps organizations connect data, models, and processes.

Warner highlighted the historical transition.

He noted: “As AI advances rapidly, the next few years will be hugely consequential for the world.”

Driving Faster Client Value

Accenture and Faculty already support life sciences companies. They help firms like Novartis transform clinical trial planning. Manish Sharma is Accenture’s Chief Strategy and Services Officer. He sees massive growth potential.

He stated: “By combining our AI capabilities with Faculty’s highly skilled AI talent and products like FrontierTM, we will help clients safely apply and scale AI to reinvent their operations—connecting data, processes, and people to drive faster value and increase competitiveness.”

ACN Price Action: Accenture shares were down 0.18% at $196.30 during premarket trading on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
