U.S. stocks were lower, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 200 points on Friday.

Shares of Scholastic Corp (NASDAQ:SCHL) rose sharply during Friday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter adjusted EPS results. Also, the company announced a $200 million share buyback.

Scholastic reported quarterly losses of 15 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of losses of 36 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $329.100 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $331.033 million.

Scholastic shares jumped 10.7% to $37.91 on Friday.

  • Satellogic Inc (NASDAQ:SATL) surged 25% to $4.10. Satellogic filed prospectus to offer up to $200 million in Class A common stock.
  • mF International Limited (NASDAQ:MFI) gained 13.6% to $11.93.
  • Firefly Aerospace Inc (NASDAQ:FLY) jumped 10.8% to $25.44 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.
  • Blacksky Technology Inc (NYSE:BKSY) gained 9.2% to $27.99. BlackSky recently announced it signed a seven-figure Assured extension contract with an international customer.
  • Solaredge Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SEDG) gained 9.1% to $49.79. Jefferies analyst Julien Dumoulin-Smith upgraded SolarEdge from Underperform to Hold and raised the price target from $30 to $49.
  • Intuitive Machines Inc (NASDAQ:LUNR) gained 8.8% to $20.56.
  • Spire Global Inc (NYSE:SPIR) gained 8.6% to $13.26.
  • Assembly Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:ASMB) gained 8.5% to $29.84 following upbeat quarterly results.
  • Ur-Energy Inc (NYSE:URG) gained 8.3% to $1.43.
  • Arm Holdings PLC – ADR (NASDAQ:ARM) surged 6.1% to $137.76 after HSBC upgraded the stock from Reduce to Buy and raised its price target from $90 to $205.
  • Dell Technologies Inc (NYSE:DELL) rose 4.7% to $164.17.
