Retailer Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ:COST) reported third-quarter financial results Thursday after market close.

Costco reported third-quarter total revenue of $70.53 billion, beating a Street consensus estimate of $69.81 billion according to data from Benzinga Pro.

  • Net Sales: $69.15 billion ($61.97 billion)
  • Membership Fees: $1.37 billion ($1.24 billion)
  • Total Revenue: $70.53 billion ($63.21 billion)

Net sales were up 11.6% year-over-year for the third quarter.

The company reported earnings per share of $4.93, in line with Street consensus estimates.

  • U.S.: +9.4%
  • Canada: +10.7%
  • Other International: +11.2%
  • Total Company: +9.8%
  • Digital Sales: +21.5%

The company ended the quarter with 931 warehouses, with 639 located in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, 115 in Canada and the remaining in international markets.

Costco stock is up 0.4% to $999.40 in after-hours trading on Thursday, versus a 52-week trading range of $844.06 to $1,096.50.
