With S&P 500, Nasdaq and Dow Jones futures trading higher this morning on Tuesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Dollar General Corp. (NYSE:DG) is set to report its fiscal first quarter 2026 earnings before the market opens on Tuesday, June 2. Wall Street analysts expect the discount retailer to post revenue of $10.82 billion and EPS of $1.89.
  • Palo Alto Networks Inc. (NASDAQ:PANW) is scheduled to report its fiscal third quarter 2026 results after market close on Tuesday. Analysts expect the company to report revenue of $2.94 billion, representing a 28% year-on-year increase, with non-GAAP EPS in the range of $0.78 to $0.81.
  • GitLab Inc. (NASDAQ:GTLB) will report its first quarter 2027 results after market close on Tuesday. The company is expected to post EPS of $0.20 for the quarter on revenue of $254.25 million, representing 18.5% year-on-year growth.

  • Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) announced plans to sell stock worth $80 billion, including a $10 billion investment by Berkshire Hathaway to raise money for its AI buildout. Alphabet stock fell 3.97% to close at $376.37 on Monday.
  • Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (NYSE:HPE) reported higher-than-expected second-quarter results after market close. The company's EPS came in at $0.79, ahead of the consensus of $0.53 on revenue of $10.68 billion, beating the estimate of $9.79 billion, according to Benzinga Pro. Hewlett Packard stock rose 9.20% to close at $47 on Monday.
