Leverage Shares by Themes has launched two new single-stock leveraged ETFs tied to ON Semiconductor Corp (NASDAQ:ON) and NXP Semiconductors (NASDAQ:NXPI), expanding the growing lineup of products targeting semiconductor companies viewed as beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence infrastructure buildout. The funds, which began trading on Tuesday, seek to deliver 200% of the daily performance of their underlying stocks, offering traders amplified exposure to two chipmakers with significant footprints in automotive, industrial, and connected-device markets.
The launches arrive amid heightened investor interest in semiconductor-related ETFs following a strong earnings season for chipmakers and AI infrastructure suppliers. While much of Wall Street’s focus remains on AI giants such as Nvidia, investors have increasingly broadened their search for opportunities to companies supplying automotive semiconductors, power management chips, industrial automation components, and edge-computing technologies.
The trend has sparked a wave of leveraged ETF launches, including recent products from Themes competitor Tradr ETFs targeting Microchip Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MCHP), NXP Semiconductors, and ON Semiconductor, that were launched last week, also seeking 200% of the daily performance of the stocks.
Themes ETFs Chief Revenue Officer Paul Marino said the new funds reflect the firm’s commitment to providing targeted trading tools linked to semiconductor companies driving innovation across AI infrastructure, industrial automation, automotive electrification, and connected devices.
Key features of the new ETFs:
- Leverage Shares 2X Long ON Daily ETF (BATS:ONG) provides exposure to 200% of the daily performance of ON Semiconductor.
- Leverage Shares 2X Long NXPI Daily ETF (BATS:NXPG) seeks 200% of the daily return of NXP Semiconductors.
- The funds are designed for active traders and sophisticated retail investors seeking amplified daily exposure to semiconductor stocks.
- Each ETF carries a 0.75% management fee, which is quite low for a leveraged ETF.
The products target companies benefiting from themes including AI infrastructure, industrial automation, automotive electrification, power semiconductors, and connected devices.
