On CNBC's “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer recommended putting Photronics Inc (NASDAQ:PLAB) in the "penalty box."

He explained that the company had reported a "really” bad miss in earnings results. When something like this happens, the stock should be put in the “penalty box until we see the next quarter.” Cramer added that there could be more quarters of soft results.

When asked about Woodward, Inc. (NASDAQ:WWD), the Mad Money host said that it is a "very, very good company."

"You're not going to get this company for less than 30 times, it's going to be 40 times earnings, which it is," he stated. Woodward designs and builds innovative energy control solutions for aerospace and industrial applications.

Cramer added that the company's business is what is "working now during this administration," while recommending the stock.

Cramer believes owning MannKind Corp (NASDAQ:MNKD) is a "total speculation."

“While you have one speculation, you need other stocks that are "a little bit more earnings oriented," he added. "This would fit as that speculation, so I bless it for that purpose only."

Regarding Occidental Petroleum Corp (NYSE:OXY), Cramer warned that the stock would “go down a lot” if the war ends.
