U.S. stocks traded lower on Friday, with the Nasdaq down more than 425 points.

Shares of Merlin Inc. (NASDAQ:MRLN) rose sharply, after the company announced the successful completion of the Critical Design Review (CDR) for its C-130J autonomy program with the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) on June 4.

Merlin shares gained 35.93% to reach $9.76 on Friday.

  • Krispy Kreme Inc. (NASDAQ:DNUT) rose 8.25% to $3.54. The company announced that in celebration of National Doughnut Day this Friday, it was offering with a free doughnut to all customers with no purchase needed and a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts at $2 with any doughnut purchase.
  • Cooper Companies Inc. (NASDAQ:COO) gained 7.40% to $66.61, after the company reported better-than-expected Q2 financial results, with record revenue of $1.08 billion, representing an 8% year-on-year increase, and non-GAAP EPS of $1.21, up 26% from the same quarter last year.
  • Insperity Inc. (NYSE:NSP) advanced 7.26% to $35.90. On June 2, the company won the 2026 Great Place to Work Certification™, reflecting insperity's strong company culture, focused on workforce readiness, employee engagement, community impact and wellbeing initiatives.
  • G-III Apparel Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:GIII) rose 6.77% to $34.21, after the company's first quarter financial results beat estimates with loss per share of $0.21 on revenue of $535.96 million.
  • Shattuck Labs Inc. (NASDAQ:STTK) climbed 6.66% to $5.12.
  • AppLovin Corp. (NASDAQ:APP) rose 5.86% to $591.67, after Edgewater Research analyst Joe Wittine upgraded the stock to Outperform.
  • Argan Inc. (NYSE:AGX) gained 5.85% to $729.80, after the company reported better-than-expected Q1 financial results, with revenue surging 50% year-on-year to $291 million, and EPS of $3.24 beating the estimate of $1.02.
  • Liberty Capital Corp. Series A (NASDAQ:GLIBA) climbed 5.82% to $21.98.
  • Stevanato Group S.p.A. (NYSE:STVN) rose 5.78% to $19.58. On June 3, the announced that all resolutions proposed to the shareholders at the Ordinary and Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders, held virtually on May 26, 2026, have passed.
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE:CMG) gained 5.67% to $29.78. JP Morgan analyst John Ivankoe upgraded the stock from Neutral to Overweight while lowering the price target from $38 to $35.
