U.S. stock futures were lower this morning, with the Nasdaq 100 futures falling more than 1% on Friday.

Shares of ON Semiconductor Corp (NASDAQ:ON) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company announced it will acquire Synaptics (NASDAQ:SYNA).

ON Semi will acquire Synaptics in an all-stock transaction, representing a total enterprise value of approximately $7 billion.

ON Semiconductor shares dipped 13% to $103.30 in pre-market trading.

  • Mesoblast Ltd (NASDAQ:MESO) fell 7% to $13.49 in pre-market trading after declining around 7% on Thursday. The company drew down $50 million from its five-year facility.
  • DSC Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ:DSC) declined 6.4% to $8.48 in pre-market trading. DSC Holdings shares dipped more than 46% on Thursday after the company announced pricing of initial public offering.
  • Ascentage Pharma Group Internatinl – ADR (NASDAQ:AAPG) dipped 6.3% to $15.98 in pre-market trading.
  • United Microelectronics Corp (NYSE:UMC) fell 6.2% to $26.01 in pre-market trading.
  • SanDisk Corp (NASDAQ:SNDK) declined 5.8% to $2,199.00 in pre-market trading. Sandisk stock surged nearly 22% on Thursday after Micron Technology’s sronger-than-expected quarterly results and bullish outlook strengthened confidence in the AI memory market.
  • Freecast Inc (NASDAQ:CAST) fell 5.6% to $8.22 in pre-market trading.
  • Applied Optoelectronics Inc (NASDAQ:AAOI) fell 5.5% to $130.90 in pre-market trading after declining more than 5% on Thursday.
