U.S. stocks were lower, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 200 points on Wednesday.
Shares of Progress Software Corp (NASDAQ:PRGS) rose sharply after the company posted better-than-expected second-quarter results.
Progress Software reported quarterly earnings of $1.62 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.49 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $253.465 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $242.741 million.
Progress Software shares jumped 11.7% to $37.52 on Wednesday.

- Uxin Ltd (NASDAQ:UXIN) surged 14.8% to $1.78. Uxin announced adoption of Rule 10b5-1 purchase plan by entity controlled by Chairman and CEO.
- PowerFleet Inc (NASDAQ:AIOT) gained 13.2% to $4.34 as the company announced a new $30 million stock repurchase program.
- Grindr Inc (NYSE:GRND) surged 11.7% to $16.05 after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised its price target from $15 to $18.
- Forward Industries Inc (NASDAQ:FWDI) jumped 10.9% to $4.68 as the company expanded Solana Treasury by over 500k SOL in fiscal Q3 2026.
- Dlocal Ltd. (NASDAQ:DLO) gained 10.7% to $14.39. UBS analyst Kaio Prato upgraded DLocal from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $16 to $20.
- Air Global PLC (NASDAQ:AIIR) rose 10.3% to $7.39.
- Talos Energy Inc (NYSE:TALO) gained 8.4% to $14.00 after the company announced the execution of a definitive agreement to jointly acquire certain deepwater assets in the Gulf of Mexico from Shell Offshore. The company commenced an $800 million offering.
- General Mills Inc (NYSE:GIS) rose 7.4% to $37.40 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
- Kyndryl Holdings Inc (NYSE:KD) gained 6.7% to $12.07. Kyndryl partnered with Microsoft to expand sovereignty solutioning.
- Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) gained 6.3% to $599.01 following a report indicating the company is building a cloud business to sell excess AI compute.
- Churchill Capital Corp XI (NASDAQ:CCXI) gained 5.2% to $18.36 as traders continue to weigh the latest SEC filing details tied to its definitive merger agreement with Agility Robotics.
