Vertex Signs LOI With The Pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance For PrALYFTREK For The Treatment Of Cystic Fibrosis In Patients Aged 6 Years And Older Who Have At Least One F508del Mutation Or Another Responsive Mutation In The CFTR Gene

Vertex Pharmaceuticals today announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA) for PrALYFTREK® (vanzacaftor/tezacaftor/deutivacaftor), a new triple combination therapy for the treatment of cystic fibrosis (CF) in patients aged 6 years and older who have at least one F508del mutation or another responsive mutation in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene. This LOI follows the positive reimbursement recommendations for ALYFTREK issued by Canada's Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) in December 2025 and Institut national d'excellence en santé et services sociaux (INESSS) in April 2026.
