Ondas Inc (NASDAQ:ONDS) announced a $6.9 million order from the Australian Department of Defence on Monday.

The award covers DTIM Single Operator Counter-sUAS Kits, secured through distributor HIFraser. DZYNE Technologies received the formal order, with counter-UAS operations now managed under the Ondas Sentinel defense division.

The kits integrate long-range detection up to 25 kilometers, Remote ID tracking, AI threat identification, and the Dronebuster (DB4) effector.

"Australia’s investment in Ondas’ DTIM Kits underscores the increasing global priority around counter-UAS readiness and the need for trusted, scalable technologies," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas. "This award is an important validation of our strategy to build a leading autonomous defense technology platform, combining advanced systems, operational expertise and strong international partnerships to support mission-critical security needs worldwide."

Debora Fortkamp, Chief Strategy Officer at HIFraser, noted, "We are proud to partner with Ondas Sentinel to bring cutting-edge single-operator counter-UAS capability to Australian forces."

Technical Analysis

From a trend perspective, ONDS is still in repair mode: at $7.08 it’s trading 6.4% below its 20-day SMA ($7.56) and 22.8% below its 50-day SMA ($9.17), which keeps the intermediate trend tilted lower. The bigger picture also remains heavy with the 50-day SMA below the 200-day SMA (a death cross that occurred in July), a backdrop that often turns rallies into "sell-the-rip" tests.

ONDS Price Action: Ondas shares were up 9.83% at $7.54 at the time of publication on Tuesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
