Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ:NBIS) stock fell about 10% on Friday due to a broad, sector-wide risk-off market rotation out of high-multiple artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure names.

The Nasdaq is down 0.40% while the S&P 500 has gained 0.42%, and Technology is the lone sector in the red at a 0.4% loss.

On July 20, Nebius entered into a senior secured debt facility for approximately $775 million, led by MUFG and backed by deployed GPU infrastructure.

"This financing is an important step in that strategy, and reinforces our confidence that our disciplined, diversified approach… will enable us to build a sustainable AI cloud business with strong and durable margins," said Ophir Nave, COO of Nebius.

Separately, the company introduced an asset-light partnership model. "Our new asset-light model gives infrastructure partners a flexible way to benefit from the explosive growth of AI," said Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius.

Critical Levels To Watch for NBIS Stock

The bigger-picture trend is still up, but the near-term tape is soft: the stock is trading 6.1% below its 20-day SMA and 11.7% below its 50-day SMA, even while it remains 43.3% above its 200-day SMA. That "short-term weak, long-term strong" setup often produces fast bounces.

RSI at 45.66 is a neutral read, which tells you the selloff isn’t "washed out" yet and momentum is more cooling than capitulating.

The moving-average structure also flags the tug-of-war: the 20-day SMA is below the 50-day SMA (bearish near-term), but the 50-day SMA is still above the 200-day SMA (bullish long-term). Key levels traders are likely watching:

  • Key Resistance: $233.50 — a nearby rebound ceiling that lines up with a prior pivot zone and sits close to the 50-day SMA area
  • Key Support: $200.50 — a nearby floor near the current price where buyers have recently shown up

NBIS Price Action: Nebius Group shares were down 10.26% at $198.30 at the time of publication on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
