Yorkville America Equities closed its acquisition of the Point Bridge America First ETF, bringing it into the Truth Social Funds lineup as the Truth Social America First ETF (NYSE:MAGA).
Truth Social is the social media platform owned by Trump Media & Technology Group, the company controlled by President Donald Trump.
The rules-based ETF, which first launched in 2017, screens for U.S.-listed companies whose employees and PACs have historically directed political contributions primarily to Republican candidates and causes. It carries a 0.72% expense ratio, while Point Bridge Capital remains sub-adviser and founder Hal Lambert continues as portfolio manager.
QUICK CONTEXT: Truth Social Expands ETF Platform
The addition of MAGA expands the Truth Social Funds lineup to seven ETFs, joining five index-tracking funds and the Truth Social God Bless America ETF (NYSE:YALL). Yorkville America Equities said the acquisition creates what it calls the market’s most comprehensive “America First” investment platform.
The transaction is largely a rebranding and platform expansion, rather than the launch of a new investment strategy. The ETF retains its existing investment process, portfolio manager and sub-adviser, with the primary changes being its integration into the Truth Social Funds family and its new MAGA ticker.
The move also reflects the continued growth of values-based and politically themed ETFs, a niche that has expanded recently alongside ESG-focused funds. While these products seek to align investments with investors’ political or ideological convictions, they remain a small segment of the broader U.S. ETF industry, where broad-market index and actively managed funds continue to dominate assets.
