Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB) burn activity spiked 3,652% in 24 hours as the token holds onto a 40% rally off June lows, with global search traffic hitting a three-month high.
Why Burns Are Spiking And What It Means
Burn data from Shibburn shows activity spiked 3,652% in the past 24 hours and 1,408% over the past 30 days, with the acceleration picking up again after burns had cooled back to pre-rally levels following SHIB’s 44% move off the June low.
Analyst LuckSide Crypto said in a YouTube video that SHIB fundamentals are looking good heading into the end of July.
SHIB climbed from 33rd to 28th in the overall crypto market cap rankings as outside attention builds.
Trading volume holds consistently around $125 million and the token has re-entered the top 10 most visited assets in the space.
“Shib optics are on the rise,” LuckSide Crypto said. “People are starting to pay attention to Shib more than they have as of late.”
The Emirates Connection
The official Shiba Inu X account flagged that Emirates now accepts Crypto.com Pay for eligible UAE flight bookings, with SHIB supported as a payment option.
Moreover, the team called it a real-world adoption moment for the token, posting “SHIB could be heading to 40,000 feet.”
What The Chart Says About Holding The Gains
SHIB consolidates at $0.00000474 Friday, sitting inside a Fibonacci support zone after the 44% spike.
The 20-day and 50-day EMAs are both below price and curling upward for the first time since February, the first bullish EMA setup the token has shown in months.
Reclaiming $0.00000505 on a daily close confirms the rally was structural. However, losing $0.00000467 puts the June base back under question.
From Whale Exit To Community Comeback
Last week’s 27% rally ended with whales selling into retail excitement, as Benzinga reported, with Santiment flagging 52 whale transactions in a single day as social dominance peaked.
SHIB’s official X account posted a bull herd image captioned “Looks like the bulls found their leader.” Crypto commentator David Gokhshtein said the move made him more bullish on OG crypto culture returning, with SHIB firing back: “OG culture never left. Neither did $SHIB.”
A week later, burns are accelerating again and search traffic is at a three-month high, suggesting the community energy from last week did not fully fade with the price.
