On Saturday, XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) reported higher vehicle deliveries in July as the electric vehicle maker continued to expand its global footprint and advanced plans for its next-generation intelligent driving technology.
XPeng July Deliveries Rise 4%
XPeng delivered 38,027 vehicles in July 2026, up 4% from a year earlier. Cumulative worldwide deliveries surpassed 1.2 million vehicles as of July 31.
It unveiled the L03 global model at a July 16 event in Munich and plans to launch it in 65 countries and regions this year.
The company also plans to introduce five new models in Australia during the second half of 2026 while expanding its local sales and service network.
XPeng said its NGP intelligent-driving system, powered by its internally developed VLA 2.0 model, will begin a global rollout in 2027.
Chinese EV Peer Performance
NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO) delivered 35,934 vehicles in July, up 71% year over year. Its year-to-date deliveries rose 68% to 227,057 vehicles.
Li Auto Inc. (NASDAQ:LI) delivered 30,468 vehicles during the month while launching the new Li L6 and expanding overseas.
XPeng led both peers in July delivery volume, although its year-over-year growth trailed NIO’s.
