XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) and Solana (CRYPTO: SOL) remain in a sideways pattern, yet three altcoins are each testing breakout levels with distinct catalysts behind them.

ADA: Symmetrical Triangle Breakout With A 40% Measured Move Target

Cardano (CRYPTO: ADA) reached $0.195 for the first time since July 4, with its market cap up 24% over the past week, according to Santiment on X

The analytics firm noted that ADA has 7,070 fewer non-empty wallets than two months ago, pointing to stronger buyers absorbing supply while retail confidence has not yet returned.

After a symmetrical triangle breakout fired over the past several sessions, price now trades above both the 20-day EMA at $0.1734 and 50-day EMA at $0.1755, with RSI at 68.25 showing strong momentum. 

The measured move from the triangle base projects a 40.92% upside target of $0.24.

Moreover, Cardano’s ecosystem activity has also picked up, with Leios testnet work, Hydra scaling progress, Mithril upgrades, Pyth integration, and fresh Catalyst funding all contributing to the backdrop.

HYPE: $218 Billion In July Volume, More Than Every Other DEX Combined

Hyperliquid, as measured by Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (NASDAQ:PURR) generated $218 billion in July perpetual trading volume, exceeding the combined $189 billion of the other seven leading perpetual DEXs, according to CryptoRank data cited by Wu Blockchain on X.

HYPE bounces 3% to $55.65, tagging the long-term ascending trendline that has supported price since the March lows and underpinned the entire rally from $28 to $76. 

The Supertrend remains bearish at $60.87 and EMAs cluster tightly between $56.62 and $59.62 as dense resistance above.

AVAX: Kenya Puts 15 Million Academic Records On Avalanche

Kenya’s national examinations body KNEC anchored more than 15 million academic records on the Avalanche (CRYPTO: AVAX) C-Chain, dating back to 1989, according to an Ava Labs blog post Monday. 

KCSE 2025 certificates for nearly 1 million students are now exclusively available through the e-certificate platform, with the system projected to reach roughly 35 million verifiable records going forward.

The move adds to a growing list of governments building on Avalanche. The California DMV digitized 42 million vehicle titles on the network, while Bergen County, New Jersey is tokenizing 370,000 property deeds representing $240 billion in real estate value.

Meanwhile, AVAX pushes 3.5% Tuesday, pressing the upper boundary of a two-month consolidation box. Bollinger Bands are expanding upward after weeks of compression, with a daily close above $6.85 opening a move toward $7.48.
