Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) trolled Spider-Man’s record $927 million opening weekend, posting that the web-slinger needs 11 more of those to match the dog’s market cap.

What The Dogecoin Account Actually Said?

The official Dogecoin X account posted directly after Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s record-breaking debut, which according to Deadline ranked as the second-biggest global opening in movie history behind Avengers: Endgame’s $1.22 billion record bow.

“Spider-man just had the biggest opening weekend in movie history. He needs about 11 more of those to catch the dog,” the account wrote.

Dogecoin’s current market cap sits at roughly $10 billion, putting the joke in context. The film earned $360 million domestically alone, breaking the previous North American record also held by Endgame.

What Whales And On-Chain Data Are Showing?

Crypto tracker Dogegod flagged on X that Dogecoin whales purchased another 200 million DOGE on Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD), valued at roughly $14 million.

Separately, analyst Ali Martinez noted on X that weekly active DOGE addresses jumped 16% from 38,000 to 44,000, a sharp increase in on-chain activity that points to renewed network engagement even as price slides.

DOGE Price Analysis: Can Dogecoin Reclaim $0.07 Or Is $0.055 Next?

DOGE briefly slipped to $0.0697 Tuesday, breaking below the $0.07 psychological level that held for weeks.

That level has now flipped from support to resistance. The descending channel in place since June continues pointing lower, with the channel midline targeting $0.055 by September.

The Parabolic SAR at $0.072 sits just above current price, keeping the bearish signal intact, while all four EMAs stack overhead as resistance with no crossover in sight.
