CEO Highlights Pharmaceutical Strategy and Growth Investments
“Our third quarter results reflect the power of our pharmaceutical-centric strategy and the continued execution of our team members,” said Robert Mauch, president and CEO of Cencora.
“Our investments in specialty, digital transformation and talent are strengthening our ability to support our customers across the healthcare ecosystem while positioning Cencora for sustainable long-term growth,” Mauch added.
Management highlighted continued investments in MSOs, and noted strategic M&A and capital deployment priorities.
Quarterly gross profit surged 24.1% to $3.6 billion. Operating income rose 29.1% to $1.1 billion.
Profitability gains were primarily bolstered by the acquisition of OneOncology in February 2026 and favorable LIFO credit movements, though higher GLP-1 sales partially squeezed overall gross margins.
U.S. and International Healthcare Businesses Post Revenue Growth
The U.S. Healthcare Solutions unit achieved revenue of $74.9 billion, up 4.9%.
Volume growth in specialty products, health systems, and GLP-1 diabetes and weight-loss drugs fueled this gain.
However, headwinds included lower manufacturer pricing, reduced sales to a primary mail-order customer, and the prior loss of an oncology client.
International Healthcare Solutions reported a 5.9% revenue increase to $7.7 billion, backed by momentum in European distribution and specialty logistics.

Cencora affirmed its 2026 sales guidance of $334.152 billion-$340.578 billion compared to the consensus of $337.203 billion.
