Firefly Aerospace Inc (NASDAQ:FLY) reported financial results for the second quarter on Tuesday after the closing bell. Here’s what you need to know from the print.

Firefly Aerospace Q2 Key Metrics
Firefly reported second-quarter revenue of $117.68 million, beating analyst estimates of $88.20 million, according to Benzinga Pro. The company reported a second-quarter adjusted loss of 42 cents per share, beating estimates for a loss of 52 cents per share.
Total revenue was up 659% on a year-over-year basis and up 45.5% compared to the first quarter. Firefly highlighted multiple achievements in the quarter, including multiple NASA contracts, Air Force contracts and an Nvidia collaboration.
“Breaking the $100 million mark with another quarterly revenue record demonstrates Firefly’s amplified growth. With more than a half dozen contract wins during the second quarter, we are matching execution to rocket, spacecraft and software orders across our programs,” said Jason Kim, CEO of Firefly Aerospace.
“Firefly is leading the way in unlocking the lunar opportunity, with another two Moon missions added to our manifest during the second quarter. We’re also going beyond the Moon to Mars as we support the cutting-edge SkyFall mission for NASA.”
Firefly exited the quarter with $459.82 million in total cash and cash equivalents, and approximately $175.45 million in short-term investments.
Firefly continues to expect full-year 2026 revenue to be in the range of $420 million to $450 million, versus estimates of $440.35 million.
Firefly management will further discuss the quarter on an earnings call with investors and analysts at 5 p.m. ET.
FLY Shares Are Moving After Hours
Firefly shares were up 1.21% in Tuesday’s after-hours session, trading at $26.68 at the time of publication, according to Benzinga Pro.
