Norfolk Southern shares are trading higher after the Surface Transportation Board adopted a procedural schedule for the consideration of the revised major merger application filed by Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern. Also, the company announced it completed the final phase of its Living Shoreline restoration project at Lambert's Point along the Elizabeth River in Virginia.
