Nucor shares are trading lower after after President Trump said in a social media post that the U.S. and Canada reached an agreement to delay 50% import tariffs on Canadian goods for three days, which may lead to competition from Canadian steel. The stock has gained almost 150% since the April 2025 Liberation Day tariffs.
