Nordson Corp (NASDAQ:NDSN) reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 guidance, after the closing bell on Wednesday.

Nordson reported quarterly earnings of $3.25 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.10 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $817.667 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $780.080 million.

Nordson raised its FY2026 adjusted EPS guidance from $11.30-$11.80 to $11.80-$12.00 and also increased sales guidance from $2.930 billion-$3.010 billion to $3.035 billion-$3.075 billion.

Nordson President and Chief Executive Officer Sundaram Nagarajan said, “The strong momentum of the first half continued through the third quarter, delivering results above the high-end of our most recent earnings guidance. The team’s strong execution of the Ascend Strategy, combined with our diversified portfolio, differentiated precision technology and operational excellence, positioned us to deliver record sales in all three segments while maintaining our best-in-class margin performance. In addition, strong free cash flow generation enabled us to further strengthen our balance sheet, return capital to shareholders, and continue investing in the business to support future growth. I want to thank our global employees for delivering on the needs of our customers and achieving another outstanding quarter.”

Nordson shares rose 0.3% to $335.52 in pre-market trading.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Nordson following earnings announcement.

  • Baird analyst Michael Halloran maintained the stock with a Neutral and raised the price target from $328 to $351.
  • Oppenheimer analyst Christopher Glynn maintained the stock with an Outperform rating and raised the price target from $335 to $370.
