Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) stock fell about 5% during Monday’s premarket session as investors pulled back from higher-beta technology stocks. Nasdaq futures fell 0.70%, while S&P 500 futures declined 0.27%.

The pullback also brought Sandisk closer to a key technical support level. That could increase volatility as traders watch whether buyers step in.

Sandisk Technical Analysis

Sandisk remains in a longer-term uptrend. The stock is trading 61.6% above its 200-day simple moving average of $939.21. It is also 4.8% above its 100-day SMA of $1,448.43.

However, the shorter-term picture is mixed. Sandisk is 8.3% below its 50-day SMA of $1,654.17 but remains 9.9% above its 20-day SMA of $1,381.13. That suggests a short-term pullback within a broader uptrend.

Momentum remains neutral. Sandisk’s relative strength index stands at 54.10. An RSI near 50 generally signals balanced buying and selling pressure.

The moving averages also send mixed signals. The 20-day SMA remains below the 50-day SMA, a bearish short-term setup. However, the 50-day SMA remains above the 200-day SMA, supporting the longer-term bullish trend.

Key resistance sits near $1,696.50. A move above that level could strengthen the recovery. Support sits near $1,485. A break below that level could increase selling pressure.

Sandisk reached a 52-week high in June before hitting a swing low in July. The stock then broke above resistance in August. Traders are now watching whether the latest pullback can hold above its mid-summer base.

Analyst Outlook

Sandisk Benzinga Edge Rankings

The Benzinga Edge scorecard highlights Sandisk’s strong momentum but weaker value profile.

Sandisk has a Momentum score of 99.9, showing strong relative performance despite Monday’s premarket decline. Its Value score stands at 12.1, suggesting the stock does not screen as inexpensive.

The combination points to a momentum-driven setup. Holding support near $1,485 could help preserve the broader bullish trend. However, a decisive break below that level could signal further weakness.
