Bloom Energy Corporation (NYSE:BE) stock was trading lower on Wednesday, following Tuesday’s gains. This followed congressional financial disclosures made public Monday morning. The filings revealed that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) established a major position in the clean energy provider.

Trading Details Revealed

Public records dated Aug. 21 disclosed late July purchases of 15,000 common shares and 200 call options with a $100 strike price expiring on June 17, 2027. The transactions took place on July 24 and July 28. Combined Bloom Energy and Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) purchases were valued between $3.75 million and $13.5 million. A disclosure dated Aug. 21 showed a Bloom Energy purchase valued between $4.25 million and $14.5 million for the July 24 transaction.

Record Revenue Expansion

The high-profile endorsement reinforces fundamental momentum following second-quarter earnings in late July. Bloom Energy reported record quarterly revenue that crossed $1 billion for the first time, up 165.5% year-over-year. Management subsequently raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion.

Technical Analysis

From a trend perspective, BE is still in a bullish longer-term posture: it’s trading about 20% above its 200-day SMA ($187.77), even after pulling back from the June peak and printing a swing low in July. That said, the intermediate trend is mixed, with the stock trading 5.9% below its 50-day SMA ($239.48) and 8.3% below its 100-day SMA ($245.63), which can cap rallies until those levels are reclaimed.

Momentum is best framed through RSI, which sits at 52.02—neutral and consistent with a stock trying to base rather than trend hard in either direction.

The moving-average structure shows that the 20-day SMA ($218.26) is below the 50-day SMA, a bearish crossover that often signals the rebound is still "under repair." Bulls typically want to see price hold above the $216 area and then start building acceptance back through the $228–$239 zone (the 50-day EMA at $228.37 and 50-day SMA at $239.48) to improve the odds of a larger trend resumption.

BE Stock Price Activity: Bloom Energy shares were down 1.17% at $214.90 on Wednesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
