Hyperscale Data, Inc. (AMEX:GPUS) shares traded nearly 5% lower Wednesday as investors weighed fresh defense-order news against a softer market backdrop, with S&P 500 futures down 0.1%.
The stock remained near recent lows despite new bookings at its Gresham Worldwide unit.
GPUS has also seen sharp recent volatility, including a 10.8% drop to $0.10 in a prior after-hours session.
Gresham Worldwide Adds $5.4 Million In Defense Orders
Hyperscale Data said its wholly owned subsidiary, Gresham Worldwide, secured about $5.4 million in new orders during July and August 2026 from its radio frequency businesses.
The orders relate to ongoing U.S. defense programs and defense prime contractors. The bookings lifted Gresham Worldwide’s backlog to approximately $53.7 million.
Despite the order momentum, GPUS remained under pressure in premarket trading as the stock continued to trade within a broader downtrend.
Michigan Data Center Strategic Review Remains In Focus
Hyperscale Data is also reviewing strategic alternatives for some or all of its Michigan data center assets.
The company is considering options that include selling or leasing the assets, pursuing a strategic investment or joint venture, or continuing to own and develop them.
Hyperscale Data Holds $21.6 Million In Bitcoin
On Tuesday, Hyperscale Data announced that it held 278.0314 Bitcoin, valued at approximately $21.6 million as of Aug. 23.
The valuation used Bitcoin’s Aug. 23 closing price of $77,755. Subsidiaries Sentinum and Ault Capital Group held the Bitcoin.

GPUS Technical Picture Remains Weak
GPUS remained below its major moving averages, trading 28.2% below its 20-day SMA, 47.3% below its 50-day SMA, and 60.5% below its 200-day SMA.
MACD remained below its signal line with a negative histogram, indicating continued pressure on momentum.
Key resistance stands near 54 cents, aligned with the 20-day SMA. Key support sits near 33 cents, close to the 52-week low area.
Hyperscale Data’s Business Mix
Hyperscale Data operates businesses spanning Bitcoin mining, defense, aerospace, industrial, automotive, and medical markets.
Its Energy segment is its largest revenue contributor, driven by crane rental and lifting solutions. Gresham Worldwide adds exposure to defense-related RF and microwave products.
GPUS Price Action: Hyperscale Data shares were down 5.48% at $0.37 at the time of publication on Wednesday. The stock is trading near its 52-week low of $0.33, according to Benzinga Pro data.
