Pinterest Inc. (NYSE:PINS) shares are trading lower after the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that CFO Julia Brau Donnelly has resigned.

CFO Donnelly Resigns; External Successor Search Underway

According to the filing, Donnelly submitted her resignation on August 26 to pursue another opportunity and will remain with the company until October 30 to support an orderly transition. Pinterest said her departure is not the result of any disagreement with the company on matters relating to its operations, policies, or practices, including accounting principles. The company has commenced an external search to identify her successor.

Vikram Naidu Named Interim CFO

Pinterest appointed Vikram Naidu, 40, as Principal Financial Officer on an interim basis, effective October 30. Naidu currently serves as the company’s Vice President of Finance and Business Operations, a role he has held since March 2024, and will retain that title in addition to his new interim responsibilities. Before joining Pinterest, Naidu served as Vice President of Finance at Verkada Inc. and previously held finance leadership roles at Lyft Inc., including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Vice President of Finance, between 2015 and 2022.

Pinterest Shares Fall
