- Kaixin Hldgs stock is charging ahead with explosive momentum. What’s driving KXIN stock higher?
602% Top-Line Growth Driven by Automotive Sales
For the six months ended June 30, Kaixin reported total net revenues of $667,000, representing a 602% year-over-year surge compared to $95,000 in the first half of 2025.
Management attributed the revenue expansion primarily to its core car sales operations conducted through its Hong Kong subsidiary, Jet Sound Hong Kong Company Limited. The business generated $23,000 in gross profit for the six-month period.
Operational Overhead Streamlining Reduces Net Losses by 77%
In addition to top-line growth, Kaixin demonstrated significant cost discipline during the first half of 2026. Operating expenses dropped to $2.0 million from $8.7 million in H1 2025, driven largely by a $6.7 million reduction in general and administrative expenses (which included a $5.1 million decline in recognized share-based compensation).
As a result, Kaixin’s loss from operations narrowed by 77% to $2.0 million. Net loss attributable to the company likewise fell 77% to $1.9 million (or an adjusted non-GAAP net loss of $1.3 million), driving morning trading momentum as investors weighed the improved operating efficiency.
