The U.S. Army Strategic Capital Initiatives project will employ natural gas and IMSR Plant advanced nuclear generation

Announcement Follows Terrestrial Energy and Ameresco’s June 2025 MOU to collaborate on the identification of sites and on development of power projects across the United States

Terrestrial Energy Inc. (NASDAQ:IMSR) ("Terrestrial Energy" or the "Company"), a leader in Generation IV molten salt nuclear plants supplying electricity and high-temperature industrial heat, today announced its support and role as supplier of advanced nuclear plant technology for Ameresco Inc.’s power plant project at the U.S. Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland. This follows a competitive request for proposals and selection process by the Army as part of its Strategic Capital Initiatives and Ameresco’s recent successful selection.

Ameresco’s APG power project is planned to provide commercial power generation capacity to the regional electricity market and enhance APG’s electric power resiliency. The project is a phased development of natural gas and advanced nuclear commercial power generation. Terrestrial Energy is supporting Ameresco as the supplier of advanced nuclear generation technology with its Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR) Plant design, an advanced reactor that captures the exceptional inherent safety features of a molten salt reactor to supply resilient, firm, clean power.
