Oklo Inc. (NYSE:OKLO) shares are trading flat Friday afternoon as investors digest a price target reduction from Wall Street. Here’s what investors need to know.

UBS Target Cut and Analyst Color

The muted price action follows a research note issued early Friday by UBS analyst Jon Windham, who maintained his Neutral rating on the advanced nuclear fission startup but lowered his 12-month price target from $55 to $41.

Providing color on the adjustment, UBS noted that despite the lower target, Oklo remains well positioned to benefit from strong U.S. government support for advanced nuclear power. The firm specifically highlighted Oklo’s Eielson Air Force Base microreactor project. Oklo has been selected as the intended awardee for the Air Force’s first microreactor pilot, where it plans to deploy a 5-megawatt-plus Aurora microreactor to provide electricity and steam heating to the base.

Additionally, the analyst pointed to Oklo’s active participation in Department of Energy reactor programs, including the recent milestone of its test reactor achieving criticality in Texas. UBS signaled that ongoing government validation through these programs could lead to significant future deployment opportunities for the company.
