Volato Group Inc. (NYSE) stock jumped Monday after its Alignment Engine subsidiary secured two AI infrastructure orders worth about $1.17 billion.
Volato develops AI infrastructure and software, including high-density GPU computing systems through Alignment Engine and aviation technology platforms.
The four-year, take-or-pay agreements are with a large AI customer and represent Alignment Engine’s first major customer commitment for its infrastructure platform.
$133 Million In Contractual Prepayments
The agreements include about $133 million in contractual prepayments. Of that amount, roughly $40 million is due after execution of the initial order.
The remaining prepayments will be made in stages tied to specific dates and equipment shipment milestones. The balance of the contract value will be paid over the four-year terms on a take-or-pay basis.
Volato said the agreements include delivery, acceptance, service-level and performance requirements.

AMD GPUs To Power Ohio Campus
Alignment Engine plans to deploy dedicated, single-tenant GPU clusters at its planned AI infrastructure campus in Ohio.
The first deployment will use AMD MI355X GPUs and has a contractual start date of Dec. 31, 2026.
A second deployment will use AMD MI455X GPUs and is scheduled to begin June 30, 2027.
The company said the structure focuses on long-term contracted capacity rather than short-term or spot-market GPU demand.
Volato Targets Dedicated AI Infrastructure
The customer deployments are expected to anchor the first phases of Alignment Engine’s Ohio campus.
Volato is developing the site to combine power, cooling, high-density GPU computing and high-performance networking for AI training, inference and high-performance computing workloads.
CEO Chris Ensey called the agreements a "transformational commercial milestone" for Alignment Engine. He said growing demand for model choice, data sovereignty and control over computing infrastructure could support dedicated AI infrastructure.
Chief Financial Officer Mark Heinen said the agreements also demonstrate Volato’s strategy of building infrastructure against long-term contracted demand and customer cash commitments.
Alignment Engine plans to use the initial deployments as a foundation for additional customer capacity as it expands the Ohio campus.
SOAR Price Action: Volato Group shares were up 110.86% at $0.37 at the time of publication on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
