CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWV) shares are trading higher Tuesday, bouncing off a support level the stock has now tested twice, a pattern that looks constructive even though one detail suggests some caution is warranted. Here’s what you should know.

CoreWeave Bounces Off a Twice-Tested Floor

CoreWeave has fallen to around $78 twice recently, once in early September and again on September 17, with the stock briefly rallying to $104 in between. Chart watchers often see this kind of pattern, a floor tested twice with a bounce in the middle, as a sign a stock has found real support rather than just pausing before falling further. If shares can climb back above that $104 level in a meaningful way, some traders would look for the stock to keep climbing toward roughly $130, based on how far the stock rallied the first time off the $78 floor.

Trading activity around the second dip to $78 also looked different than the first. A noticeably larger number of shares changed hands on Sept. 17 than during the earlier test, the heaviest trading day on the stock’s recent chart. That kind of surge often shows up when nervous sellers finally give up and sell near a bottom, clearing the way for the stock to stabilize. It’s generally seen as a healthier sign than a quiet, low-volume retest of the same price.

A Shrinking Rally Size is the One Note of Caution

Not every signal points the same direction, though. The first bounce off $78 carried the stock all the way to $104, a strong move. The second bounce, by contrast, only reached $92 before fading. That smaller rally could mean the stock is quietly gathering strength for a bigger move later, or it could mean buying interest is genuinely weakening even though the floor is holding. Watching how strong the next bounce turns out to be should help clarify which explanation is right.

There’s also a bigger-picture reason for optimism. Back in late July, CoreWeave’s low point was closer to $59. The fact that the stock is now holding steady near $78, roughly 30% higher, suggests the stock’s overall floor has been rising over the past few months, even if the last few weeks alone look like a sideways stretch.
