Veea Inc. (NASDAQ:VEEA) stock jumped nearly 48% Thursday after the company announced an agreement with TROLLEE Holdings Limited to deploy its VeeaONE platform across 1,000 unattended stores.
The micro-cap stock saw unusually heavy trading. Session volume reached about 67.62 million shares, compared with a 100-day average of roughly 4.2 million.
Veea had a market capitalization of about $6.7 million based on the previous close. The company’s small market value and sharp increase in volume can contribute to significant share-price volatility.
Brings Edge AI To Unattended Stores
Veea provides AI-powered and cybersecure edge infrastructure for enterprises, service providers and public-sector organizations.
Under the agreement, the company will deploy VeeaONE across 1,000 TROLLEE unattended stores. The platform combines edge AI, secure connectivity and smart-retail technology.
TROLLEE plans to use the system for loss prevention, shopper and store safety, predictive maintenance and remote monitoring. The company also expects to use Veea’s VigiLynx technology to manage connected locations remotely.
Veea expects deployment costs of about $1,000 to $2,000 per store. Costs will vary depending on the use of VeeaHub edge servers with AI computing capabilities.
The agreement expands a partnership that the company and TROLLEE announced earlier in 2026.
