Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:REGN) on Thursday shared clinical trial results for two investigational therapies targeting recurrent ovarian cancer and muscle loss prevention during weight management.

The biotechnology company presented Phase 1/2 data for ubamatamab in low-grade serous ovarian cancer alongside Phase 2 COURAGE trial findings for trevogrumab combined with Novo Nordisk A/S’s (NYSE:NVO) semaglutide.

Strong Response Rates in Ovarian Cancer

At the International Gynecologic Cancer Society 2026 Annual Global Meeting, the firm presented initial data for ubamatamab, a bispecific antibody designed to connect cancer cells with T cells to trigger local activation.

LGSOC represents up to 10% of serous ovarian cancers and currently lacks effective treatment options for recurrent cases.

Among patients receiving 800 mg monotherapy doses, the drug achieved a 73% objective response rate, an 11-month median progression-free survival, and a 9-month median duration of response.

Consequently, the company is enrolling a potentially registrational trial and preparing to consult with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding a confirmatory Phase 3 study.

Safety assessments across 19 patients showed treatment-emergent adverse events in all participants, though cytokine release syndrome cases were limited to Grade 1 or 2.

Muscle Preservation in Weight Loss

During a Scientific Symposium at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes Annual Meeting, the company highlighted Phase 2 COURAGE trial results for trevogrumab.

The anti-myostatin therapy was paired with semaglutide to prevent lean mass loss in adults living with obesity.

Lower trevogrumab doses preserved up to 50.7% of lean mass relative to semaglutide monotherapy and retained nearly 70% of thigh muscle volume.

Broader Pipeline Expansion

Regeneron plans to launch a Phase 2 study testing trevogrumab with GLP-1 therapies in older adults with obesity and reduced muscle strength.

Additionally, partner Hansoh shared Phase 3 results in Chinese patients for olatorepatide, a novel GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist licensed exclusively to the drugmaker outside Greater China.

REGN Price Action: Regeneron Pharmaceuticals shares were up 0.10% to $735.54 at the time of publication on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
