Surf Air Mobility Inc. (NYSE:SRFM) shares are trading higher by more than 14% on Tuesday. The company signed a deal with Clipper Aviation for OperatorOS, its SurfOS flight operations software for Part 135 operators powered by Palantir Technologies.
The deal marks Surf Air Mobility’s fourth commercial OperatorOS contract and supports its goal of having five operators live on the platform by the end of 2026. The company also said it expects to earn a per-seat fee under the agreement.
• Surf Air Mobility shares are climbing with conviction. Why is SRFM stock surging?
New OperatorOS Customer Win
Surf Air Mobility will receive a percentage of revenue from all Clipper flights managed through OperatorOS.
Clipper currently operates four aircraft, and the AI-enabled platform is designed to streamline aircraft and crew scheduling, provide actionable operational insights, improve visibility and reduce manual processes through a single solution.
Barrett Brown, president of SurfOS at Surf Air Mobility, said adding Clipper strengthens the platform’s ability to connect aircraft supply with broker demand, as each additional aircraft expands inventory available to the company’s broker network.
Adds Air Fuga to OperatorOS Roster
Last month, Surf Air Mobility penned a definitive deal with Air Fuga, making the aviation company the third customer for its OperatorOS platform in less than two weeks.
As per the agreement, Surf Air Mobility will receive a percentage of revenue from flights managed through OperatorOS.
The collaboration gives the company access to Palantir’s engineering resources, which the company expects will shorten product-development timelines and support expansion into new markets and use cases.
