U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 1% on Wednesday.

Shares of BKV Corp (NYSE:BKV) rose sharply after the company announced that a subsidiary executed into an equipment supply contract.

BKV shares jumped 9.2% to $24.08 on Wednesday.

  • Penguin Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:PENG) shares jumped 16.3% to $74.65 as the company reported upbeat financial results for the fourth quarter.
  • Gibo Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:GIBO) surged 9.1% to $48.48.
  • Arrivent Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ:AVBP) gained 8.8% to $16.42. The company recently announced that its Phase 3 FURVENT trial evaluating firmonertinib failed to achieve its primary endpoint.
  • Savara Inc (NASDAQ:SVRA) gained 7.5% to $5.00.
  • NorthWestern Energy Group Inc (NASDAQ:NWE) rose 7.1% to $73.84.
  • Glaukos Corp (NYSE:GKOS) gained 6.6% to $172.34. Glaukos will release third quarter financial results after the closing bell on Oct. 28.
  • Source Capital (NYSE:SOR) rose 6.4% to $47.90.
  • Lifeway Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ:LWAY) gained 4.8% to $21.45.
  • Verastem, Inc. (NASDAQ:VSTM) rose 5.2% to $8.15.
  • Zura Bio Limited (NASDAQ:ZURA) surged 3.7% to $4.1050.
  • FTAI Infrastructure Inc. (NASDAQ:FIP) gained 3.6% to $2.7650.
  • Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:LW) rose 2.7% to $49.19. Lamb Weston on Tuesday reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and raised its FY27 guidance above estimates.
