U.S. stock futures were lower this morning, with the Dow futures falling around 100 points on Friday.

Shares of Methanex Corp (NASDAQ:MEOH) fell sharply in pre-market trading following downbeat quarterly results.

Methanex reported quarterly losses of 14 cents per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of earnings of 66 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $969.000 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.041 billion.

Methanex shares dipped 8.7% to $52.09 in pre-market trading.

  • Palladyne AI Corp (NASDAQ:PDYN) fell 5.1% to $9.45 in pre-market trading. Palladyne AI shares jumped 34% on Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly sales results.
  • ORIC Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:ORIC) fell 4% to $13.31 in pre-market trading.
  • STMicroelectronics NV (NYSE:STM) fell 3.6% to $32.10 in pre-market trading.
