With U.S. stock futures trading lower this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:
- Wall Street expects Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) to report quarterly earnings at $1.95 per share on revenue of $109.66 billion after the closing bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Apple shares rose 0.3% to $270.95 in after-hours trading.
- Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG) reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and raised its quarterly dividend. Alphabet shares gained 7.2% to $375.29 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts are expecting Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) to post quarterly earnings of $4.62 per share on revenue of $16.61 billion. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Caterpillar shares slipped 0.1% to $809.11 in after-hours trading.

- Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) reported upbeat financial results for the first quarter after the market closed on Wednesday. Amazon also said it expects second-quarter revenue to be between $194 billion and $199 billion, versus estimates of $188.87 billion. Amazon shares rose 2.7% to $270.25 in the after-hours trading session.
- Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) reported better-than-expected financial results for the first quarter on Wednesday after the bell. Meta posted first-quarter revenue of $56.31 billion, beating analyst estimates of $55.45 billion. The tech giant reported first-quarter adjusted earnings of $7.31 per share, beating estimates of $6.78 per share, according to Benzinga Pro. The company anticipates full-year capital expenditures of $125 billion to $145 billion, up from prior guidance of $115 billion to $135 billion. Meta shares dipped 7% to $622.20 in the after-hours trading session.
