Prominent crypto analyst Doctor Profit has flipped his portfolio to 60% Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) and 40% Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), calling it the largest ETH bet of his career.

Why Doctor Profit Made The Biggest ETH Bet Of His Career?

Doctor Profit said on X that in previous cycles, ETH represented only around 10% of his combined BTC and ETH portfolio.

Last week he raised it to 20% and Friday he pushed it to 60%, flipping the ratio for the first time in his trading history.

“Either this will become one of the greatest allocation decisions of my career or one of the craziest,” he wrote. “I am betting on the first,” he added.

He posted a chart projecting a move from around $1,950 toward $4,000, potentially by early 2027, adding simply: “Who is ready for $4,000? For the first time, I bet EXTREME on ETH.”

What Other Analysts Are Saying About ETH Right Now?

Crypto trader Mercury said on X that ETH is coiling just below a critical inflection point where a nine-month downtrend and a five-month range support level meet at the $1,950 area.

He said a confirmed reclaim of that level as support opens a path toward $2,350 and potentially $2,800.

“The easiest way to make large amounts of money in markets is to respect momentum and find confidence in trends in their infancy,” Mercury wrote, advising against fading the move if the breakout confirms.

Arthur Hayes Is Also Accumulating: 3,915 ETH at $7.47M Since July 15

What ETF Flows Are Showing?

Ethereum ETFs recorded net inflows for three consecutive weeks, totaling $293.76 million, according to SoSoValue data

Friday saw $71 million in net outflows after five straight days of inflows, though the weekly picture still showed a net positive of $104 million.

One day of outflows after a five-session inflow streak points to profit-taking rather than a trend shift, with the next few sessions the real test of whether institutional demand holds at current ETH prices.
