T-Mobile Breaks Silence on Nationwide Outage

After remaining silent for several hours, T-Mobile acknowledged the issue in a statement posted on X.

“Our teams are actively working on the reports of technical challenges impacting some customers,” the company said. 

“Any service impacts are in the process of being resolved and are our highest priority. We know how critical it is to stay connected and every available resource is focused on resolving this as quickly as possible.”

The wireless carrier did not disclose what caused the outage or provide an estimated timeline for a full restoration of service.

Customers Turn to X and Reddit as Outage Continues

As the disruption persisted, frustrated customers flooded X and Reddit with complaints, while “T-Mobile outage” began trending on the social media platform.

Meanwhile, outage-monitoring service StatusGator indicated the disruption appeared to be nationwide and also affected providers that rely on T-Mobile’s network, including Mint Mobile and Boost Mobile.

Price Action: T-Mobile US Inc. shares closed Monday down 1.60% at $177.21 and slipped another 0.26% to $176.75 in after-hours trading, according to Benzinga Pro.
