BitMine Immersion Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:BMNR) stock is trading lower Friday alongside other crypto-linked equities. The Nasdaq is up 0.16% while the S&P 500 has gained 0.17%, and Technology is lagging with a 0.9% loss.

The decline in crypto-linked stock follows a drop in Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH). Furthermore, Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ:COIN) weighed down the broader industry after reporting second-quarter revenue of $1.22 billion, missing the consensus estimate of $1.31 billion and an adjusted loss of 40 cents per stock against an estimated 11-cent loss.

Regulatory Uncertainty Pressures Sentiment

A declining probability that the CLARITY Act will pass during this Congressional session is also impacting stock prices. Reports suggest some Republicans raised questions about the act’s impact on the banking system. JPMorgan analysts led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou put the bill’s passage odds at 37% in a report cited by CoinDesk.

Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan told Cointelegraph that passing the act has a coin flip’s chance, adding, "I think the industry will be too big to kill two years from now."

SharpLink Gaming Inc Chairman Joseph Lubin told “The Rollup” on July 28 that SharpLink and BitMine have emerged as the two dominant Ethereum treasury companies, adding that BitMine has stronger retail engagement.

Critical Levels To Watch for BMNR Stock

BMNR is still trying to stabilize in the near term: it’s trading 4.2% above its 20-day SMA ($16.18) and 2.9% above its 50-day SMA ($16.39), but it remains 10.4% below its 100-day SMA ($18.83) and 33.4% below its 200-day SMA ($25.33). That mix usually reads as a short-term bounce inside a bigger downtrend, especially with the 20-day SMA still below the 50-day SMA.

Momentum is neutral, with RSI at 52.21, suggesting the stock isn’t especially stretched to the upside or downside right now.

The bigger trend damage is still visible in the longer-term crossover structure: the death cross that formed in January (50-day SMA below the 200-day SMA) remains a headwind for sustained upside.

  • Key Resistance: $18 — a round-number area that also sits near the 100-day SMA zone, where rebounds can stall
  • Key Support: $15.50 — a nearby floor just below current levels where buyers previously stepped in

BMNR Stock Price Activity: BitMine Immersion shares were down 6.31% at $16.94 on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
