Chime today also announced that Matt Newcomb is stepping down as Chief Financial Officer, effective Friday, August 7, 2026. Mark Troughton, Chime's President, has been appointed President & Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Troughton is a seasoned public company executive and Chartered Accountant with deep knowledge of Chime's business. In his current role, he oversees Operations, Risk, Lending, Corporate Development, and Strategy, and has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth and operating model. The Company has initiated an executive search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer. To ensure a seamless transition, Mr. Newcomb will remain with Chime as an advisor during the search and leadership transition period.
