Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) rose over 7% on Wednesday to $932.46, lifting its market value to $1.04 trillion, the 15th largest in the world.
Three things moved it.
First, Singapore’s state fund Temasek is reported to be planning stakes in Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (OTC:SSNLF) and SK Hynix Inc. (NASDAQ:SKHY).
Second, strong earnings from AI infrastructure players. CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWV) raised its 2026 capital spending plan to as much as $39 billion and rose 18%. Lumentum Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LITE) more than doubled revenue to $1.01 billion.
Both say the same thing. The data center buildout is getting bigger, not smaller.
Last but not least, Intel Corp.‘s (NASDAQ:INTC) chief executive said memory makers are sold out for two years.
The Roundhill Memory ETF (CBOE: DRAM) jumped 7.7%.
