Skybride Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci once emphasized the value of surrounding yourself with talented people who would deliver a net positive impact on your life.
Great People Can Lift You, Says Scaramucci
Appearing on a May 5 podcast with Jimmy McLoughlin, Scaramucci advised younger listeners to “hang out with great people,” adding that an individual is a “weighted average” of the five people they hang out with.
“If you hang out with great people, they’re going to lift you. If you hang out with idiots, they’re going to sink you,” said the former Goldman Sachs investment banker.
Don’t Get ‘Insecure’ Around People More Talented Than You
Drawing on his own experiences, Scaramucci spoke highly of Brett Messing, President and CEO of SkyBridge Capital.
We’ve known each other for 40 years. He’s been my business partner twice on two different occasions,” Scaramucci added. “He is so much better than me at so many different things.”
The former White House Communications Director said that the crucial part is not to get insecure in the company of “talented people.”
“Rather than be upset at that, be like, ‘Thank God for that,'” he stated.
Scaramucci’s Professional Milestones
Before launching SkyBridge Capital in 2005, Scaramucci co-founded the investment firm Oscar Capital Management, which was subsequently sold to Neuberger Berman in 2001
He has authored several books, including “Solana Rising: Investing in the Fast Lane of Crypto” and “The Little Book of Bitcoin.” According to Celebrity Net Worth, his wealth is estimated at $150 million.
Scaramucci previously revealed that over 70% of his net worth is invested in Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC).
