On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Jason Snipe, founder and chief investment officer of Odyssey Capital Advisors, recommended Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX).
The streaming service’s shares were trading higher on Tuesday, extending a recent rebound as the stock works to reclaim key moving averages. Meanwhile, Bill Ackman‘s Pershing Square fund disclosed last week a 3.15 million-share Netflix position, representing 4.9% of its portfolio.

Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist, head of investment solutions and equity portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors, said Elanco Animal Health Incorporated (NYSE:ELAN) has very strong fundamentals.
Lending support to her choice, Elanco Animal Health, on Aug. 5, reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 guidance above estimates. Also, the company issued third-quarter sales guidance above estimates.
The pet health company reported adjusted earnings of 34 cents, beating the consensus of 27 cents. Sales jumped 10% year-over-year on a reported basis (+8% on constant currency) to $1.368 billion, better than the consensus of $1.313 billion.
Joseph M. Terranova, senior managing director for Virtus Investment Partners, said Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) is about to make a new all-time high.
Supporting his view, Eli Lilly reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results on Aug. 5 and raised its FY26 sales guidance, with the midpoint above estimates.
