Ouster Subsidiary Brings 3D Vision To Trossen’s AI Robots
Separately, Ouster subsidiary Stereolabs SAS and Trossen Robotics said Tuesday they are partnering to integrate Stereolabs’ stereo cameras into Trossen’s Physical AI platforms.
The collaboration adds Stereolabs’ ZED X Mini and ZED X Nano cameras to Trossen’s Workbench and Rivet robot-learning systems.
The platforms combine dual robotic arms, NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin computing and a factory-calibrated three-camera system using Stereolabs hardware.
A ZED X Mini captures the wider workspace, while wrist-mounted ZED X Nano cameras provide close-range views for robotic manipulation.
The system produces synchronized visual and depth data for imitation learning, reinforcement learning and simulation-to-real-world applications. It also supports ROS 2 and NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab.
Technical Analysis
