BTC Digital Ltd. Ordinary Shares (NASDAQ:BTCT) stock is up by more than 22% during Tuesday’s premarket session.

Today, the company said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Nam Trang Cat Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (NTC) and SG Partners Co., Limited (SGP).

The companies plan to evaluate and prepare an artificial intelligence data center project in Hai Phong, Vietnam.

The framework covers feasibility work, site readiness, power access, technical planning, and financing preparation, with NTC confirming a planned power load of about 300 MW at the Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park (about 2 million square meters).

The MOU covers a two-year cooperation period, including an initial six-month exclusivity period. Under the MOU, NTC will support local project coordination and help verify site, power and infrastructure conditions.

At the same time, BTC Digital will provide its digital computing infrastructure expertise and international business resources for project assessment and technical preparation.

BTC Digital Georgia Crypto Facility Nears Full Deployment

On Monday, the company disclosed that the construction of its 10-MW cryptocurrency computing facility in Georgia, U.S., is complete and the site is nearing deployment readiness.

Based on current power interconnection and pre-deployment progress, the company expects to begin deploying high-performance mining machines and start digital-asset mining within about two months.

The facility is designed to support up to approximately 900,000 TH/s, or 900 PH/s, of theoretical capacity at full deployment.

However, actual machine deployment and computing output will depend on energization, equipment efficiency, network difficulty, digital-asset prices and market conditions.

The company expects the Georgia project to expand its U.S. infrastructure base, improve the scale and asset efficiency of its mining operations, and strengthen capabilities in power infrastructure, data-center operations and high-density computing for future AI and high-performance computing expansion.

Management said the company will progressively deploy mining machines based on market conditions while continuing to leverage its power, infrastructure and computing capabilities to build a more diversified and resilient business.

With futures green pre-bell, risk appetite is leaning supportive, which can amplify single-stock moves tied to crypto infrastructure headlines.

What BTC Digital Does In Bitcoin Mining

BTC Digital Ltd is tied to the ledger technology that underlies bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and it focuses on bitcoin mining in the U.S. In plain terms, it’s exposed to both crypto price sentiment and the practical question of how much computing capacity it can bring online efficiently.

Beyond mining itself, the company also generates revenue through the resale of mining machines, mining machine rental, and miner hosting services. That’s why a “facility construction complete and nearing full deployment” update matters: it speaks directly to the infrastructure base that can support mining and hosting activity.

BTCT Price Action: BTC Digital shares were up 23.59% at $2.15 during premarket trading on Tuesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
