OS Therapies, Inc. (NYSE:OSTX) on Tuesday released interim three-year overall survival data from its ongoing Phase 2b clinical evaluation.
The study, known as the Metastatic Osteosarcoma Program, tests the OST-HER2 therapy for its ability to prevent or delay disease recurrence in patients diagnosed with fully resected, pulmonary metastatic osteosarcoma.
Osteosarcoma is the most common primary type of malignant bone cancer that starts in the cells that form new bone tissue.
The company highlighted a statistically significant benefit for patients treated with OST-HER2 when evaluated against a combined published historical control arm utilized for regulatory interactions.
Interim Phase 2b Survival Rates Exceed Historical Benchmarks
The interim analysis demonstrated that OST-HER2-treated patients achieved a 71.2% overall survival rate at the three-year mark.
In contrast, the comparable combined published historical control group yielded a lower overall survival rate of 45.8%.
Currently, just two study participants have not yet reached the three-year timepoint following their initial enrollment in the study.
OS Therapies scheduled clinical trial monitoring visits for these remaining two patients in September 2026 and early October 2026.
