Cryptocurrency bettors are hiking the odds of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) releasing a touchscreen MacBook in 2026 as excitement builds over its recently unveiled iPhone 18 lineup.
CZ Praises iPhone Duo
Binance (CRYPTO: BNB) founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao commented on the new “iPhone Duo” foldable phone, saying, “iPhone Duo is pretty good for charting.”
CZ shared a screenshot from the Binance app showing the BNB/USDT price.
A Gamechanger?
The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 and features a 7.6-inch inner display. The 5.4-inch outer display provides about 90% of the iPhone 18 Pro’s screen area. Preorders for the iPhone Duo open on Oct. 16, with store availability beginning Oct. 23.
Investor Gary Black predicted the phone will "usher in a new iPhone upgrade cycle" and "substantially increase" Apple’s average selling price.
Touchscreen MacBook in 2026?
Prediction markets, meanwhile, are placing bets on Apple’s next moves.
Polygon (CRYPTO: POL)-based Polymarket prices in a 60% chance that Apple will launch a MacBook with a touchscreen by Dec. 31. The odds spiked to an all-time high of 86% earlier this week, but have since cooled.
Interestingly, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was against touchscreens on computers and thought the idea "ergonomically terrible."

Price Action: Apple shares fell 0.24% in after-hours trading. The stock closed 3.56% higher at $326.57 during Thursday’s regular trading session, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
AAPL shows a strong price trend across short-, medium- and long-term periods, according to Benzinga’s Edge Stock Rankings.
