Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ:BTDR) said Monday that its Bitdeer AI unit secured a 65.1-megawatt AI cloud data center facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
The expansion comes as its active AI cloud pipeline surpasses an estimated $7 billion. The company entered a 10-year data center services agreement for the A202 facility. It expects the site to be energized in the third quarter of 2027.
Expands Malaysia AI Capacity
A202 is Bitdeer AI’s largest single capacity addition in Southeast Asia. It sits on the same campus as the company’s 21.7MW A201 facility.
As a result, Bitdeer can extend existing power, liquid cooling and network infrastructure to A202. Together, the two facilities will provide 86.8MW of AI cloud capacity.
A202 will support liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA systems, including GB300 NVL72 and Vera Rubin platforms. The facility can provide GPU cloud services and data hosting.

Bitdeer AI said demand for its uncontracted capacity remains strong. Its active AI cloud capacity pipeline now exceeds an estimated $7 billion.
The company expects to fund GPU deployments at A202 mainly through customer prepayments. It generally seeks prepayments covering more than 50% of related capital spending. Contract-backed financing and operating cash flow could provide additional funding.
With A202, Bitdeer AI has secured about 206.5MW of AI cloud data center capacity across Malaysia, Norway and the U.S. That represents about 59% of its target of up to 350MW by the first quarter of 2028.
