Lyntris Inc. (NYSE:LYNX), a defense technology company delivering sense-to-act connectivity solutions for the modern connected battlespace, today announced that Intuitive Machines, a leading space infrastructure prime, has selected the company to provide S-, X-, and Ka-band antenna feed systems for large-aperture antennas within its expanding global ground network.
Comprised of ground stations strategically located worldwide, Intuitive Machines' commercially available network provides continuous line-of-sight communications with the Moon and beyond. The ground network is part of Intuitive Machines' broader space infrastructure service, which increases visibility across major Earth-viewing arcs, enhances contact opportunities for lunar and deep-space missions, and expands capacity for communications, data transport, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT).
Lyntris' tri-band feed systems support S-, X-, and Ka-band communications through a single aperture. Delivering tri-band capability for large-aperture antennas requires the systems to maintain the gain and noise performance required for near-space and deep-space communications while keeping the frequency bands isolated from one another. A number of Intuitive Machines ground antennas are expected to feature Lyntris feed systems as the company continues to scale its global ground network.
Lyntris has delivered precision RF and antenna systems for over 40 years, where its aperture engineering paired with vertically-integrated manufacturing shortens the path from design to qualified hardware. This integrated approach will enable Lyntris to scale feed production to support Intuitive Machines' expanding ground network.
